| Wow, I haven't posted in almost exactly a year. Good. I don't think anyone reads this anymore. Also Good. I think I would just like to say...I was a dumb melodramatic high school teenager. the end.

| It was one hell of a season, you guys. If ANYONE out there is angry, or cursing...
you're stupid. one of the stupidest people i know (if i know you). they
played their hearts out. and they got to the world fucking series. they
deserve more props than any other team, i think, because they didn't
give up, even when everyone else was giving up on them. that's awesome.
to all other astros fans that are with me on this,
keep believing. it'll happen again. maybe even next year!!
GO ASTROS!!!! THANKS FOR A GREAT SEASON, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, A GREAT OCTOBER!!!
Also, a tip of my hat to the 2005 World Series Champs, the Chicago
White Sox. You guys played a terrific post-season, and got your
storybook ending.

| HELL YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
My God. We did it. We're in the World Series. WE'RE IN THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I TOLD you to BELIEVE. BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE!!
To everyone who gave up after Game 5:
YEAH!! WHAT NOW?!?!?!?! Fucking Houston Chronicle.
WE'RE GOING ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!

| Those of you that know me know I spend absolutely no time on xanga. But
today, I dedicate this long-ER entry to the one and only...yes, you
know it...the greatest boys on earth...
THE HOUSTON ASTROS!!!!!
We won the NLDS in 4 games. 4 games, people. This is from the team that
was considered to have "no pop" "no players" and "no chance." Yeah,
people. No chance?!?! To all the people who killed the astros at the
beginning of the year *cough bryan cory, Houston Chronicle cough* and
to all the people who predicted Braves in 4 *cough Josh Meah cough*...
WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And man, I love being able to say that. I'm sitting here, still stunned
that we won that game after 18 innings, 5 hours and 50 minutes, and
BEING DOWN 6-1 in the EIGHTH. All I can think of is that I, completely
and totally, without a doubt, LOVE MAH BOYS!!
And man, was this an intense game. From Backe pitching great, to Backe
pitching horribly, to Ausmus' terrific defensive play tagging LaRoche
out at home, to being down 6-1 in the eighth, to Berkman's GRAND SLAM,
to Ausmus' homer in the ninth (I think this deserves special
recognition. This is a guy that had a total of 3 homers all season long.
But, when it mattered, he came through.), to the Rocket's GODLIKE
pitching for three innings, to, finally, Chris Burke's game winning
walk-off homer in the EIGHTEENTH inning.
All of that can't even describe the emotion coursing through EVERY
SINGLE 'Stros fan everywhere. In the eighth inning, after Mccan hit the
homer against Rodriguez, I grabbed my 'Stros hat, and put in on inside
out, hoping the 'Stros would "rally back." And, lo and behold, 4
outs later, Berkman hits his GRAND SLAM. His first ever postseason
grand slam.
Such a fucking awesome feeling. One inning later, Ausmus hit his homer
that tied the game. The cap stayed on backwards since then. After Burke
hit his homer to win the game, I suddenly realized that when it comes
to the Astros, I believe in superstition. That cap is not being turned
back the right way until this is over.
And as Brandon Farmahini so aptly reminded me in the 8th inning...it's
not over until it's over. And, it's not over, folks. As many have said
over the last two weeks, I too have become a BELIEVER. We're going all
the way. ALL THE WAY.
And, so, I end this entry with two things. First, a thanks to Mr. Beard
and all my crazy friends who reunited me with my love for baseball in
the 2004 post-season. It's made my life infinitely more interesting. And to everyone else out there,
I'm going to remind you of something Brandon reminded me of and is on his
xanga as well...
BELIEVE!!!!!!!!
It's going to happen. It really is. And, if, after reading this entry,
you still aren't excited as I am, or still don't believe as much as I
do...

That had better convince you. How can you NOT be happy after seeing that?!?
GO ASTROS!!!

| I'm at debate camp and listening to a lecture on college debate, and I'm SO BORED that I'm updating my xanga.
Indeed, friends, that IS how bored I am. It's been a while, hasn't it?
Nothing's happened. Life's boring. One more week of camp. I need sleep.
Goodbye.
